Wordpress I’m almost into my second week of my holiday in La Palma. I am really enjoying the peace and quiet. I am on my 3rd book and I only brought 4.
The big news here in La Palma is that there are forest fires. As the island is not too big they are quite close, but thankfully the wind is blowing them away from me. More details on the holiday blog.
I’ve been investigating trackbacks and pingbacks tonight. Thanks to this blog for helping me figure them out. Hopefully after adding that link to the holiday blog that’ll be a ping back. I’ll have to see what happens.
Right, back to reading, sleeping and drinking the local rosé wine. Life is hard :-) It will be when I get back, got a heck of a lot to do.

Mobile technology You know me, I love mobile tools and this is another one that came down in a Windows update. I knew that you could blog to certain blogs via the Word and OneNote blog this tools but it would not blog to Wordpress before. Well, it does now… or does if you are reading this. I don’t think I have a use for this yet… but you never know. Might be handy to blog offline when I’m on holiday then only connect to send. Not sure if it works on the eeePC or not yet, or even if I have enough space on it’s miniscule hard drive.
Now, how do I post?

Miscellaneous thoughts & ravings Sometimes this seems like a very boring blog. I don’t seem to have any interesting insights into life, the universe or anything. My friend Becca writes really interesting snippets that are really thought provoking and deep. I’d like to but nothing like that ever springs to mind when I am at the computer. I must have a very boring life.
