VERT I’m off on my travels again. It is the NRAG conference and I am going to be there delivering key messages… Or giving out leaflets. I couldn’t get into the Premier Inn so I’m in a Novotel. It is like a P. Inn but more expensive and with less food. I had two courses and I’m still hungry. There is a different type of image on the wall. Instead of being bland and relaxing it is vibrant and a bit stressful. I guess they don’t want guests to sleep but want them awake and paying for the premium tv channels and extortionate broadband - 18.99 for 24 hours!

VERT I’m in Nottingham tonight before my last VERT visit to the department tomorrow. As you can see I’ve got the depressing lollipop trees on the wall. One of these days I’ll find out their significance. In the meantime I’ll just be glad not to see them again. I wish I’d managed to get a picture of the testes and uterus picture that sometimes hangs in the Premier Inn restaurants but it night look a bit wierd taking photos of it.

VERT My feet haven’t touched the ground lately. I’ve been all over the country on VERT visits. Since I came back from holiday in Scotland I’ve been to:
- Exeter
- Plymouth
- Newcastle
- Maidstone
- Shrewsbury
- Colchester
Before the end of May I’ll add these to the list too:
- Leicester
- Northwood (Middlesex)
- London (UCLH and Royal Free)
- Middlesborough
- Imperial (London)
- Kingston (London)
That’s 11 sites in one month and two days!!! No wonder I am knackered. I feel knackered, I look knackered and all the muscles that hold up my bottom, breasts and stomach are knackered. So knackered that they have given up! I am so looking forward to June. Not because Nick is away (I will miss him a hell of a lot) but because I have no visits in my diary. I’ve got several 4 VERT day weeks and very little to do except marking. Oh yes, and writing this little report for the end of the VERT project. That will probably take me most of June! At least I’ll be able to get to the gym again and see if I can coax my muscles into life before my holiday in La Palma. I can’t go with a saggy bottom!

VERT I am bored. I am supposed to be writing an article for Synergy News about the VERT user group last week but I am really not in the mood. I think this is because my holidays are supposed to have started and I have so much work stuff to do. I just don’t feel motivated to do any of it. I am bored and my writing is boring. I don’t want to write reports. I want to write fun stuff. I don’t want to be using my brain at the moment. I want to:
- Empty the washing machine
- Make a cup of tea
- Phone mum and dad
- Do my accounts (told you I was bored)
- Take some photos with my dSLR (in storage)
- Install iTunes (what am I thinking!!!!!!!!!!)
- Play World of Warcraft
- Annoy the dog
- Annoy the husband
- Do some more to the Preparation for Practice website (another story, another day)
- Eat raw peas
- Anything apart from write this blasted article!!
