My new hobbby
My “learn spanish” CD arrived last night. I’ve listened to a little bit of it and am now convinced that it may be an impossible task. I will give it a go however. I know mosst people in Tenerife speak english but I’ve always wanted to learn. I don’t for a minute think that it will make me fluent but if I can ask for food and drinks and directions I’lll be happy. When we were in Switzerland I realy enjoyed speaking French and it was surprising that I got my self understood. It is also nice to be able to understand signs and notices.
Right, got to get to it. I just need to make a conscious effort not to mouth words on the train or I will look a right fool!
