Images I first heard about the calendar from Eizo on the Society of Radiographers’ RSS feed and then up it popped again in Street Anatomy complete with more pictures. I love them! They really show the beauty of the human body and the complexity of the skeleton in particular.
I (like the SoR) was a little concerned about the radiation dose to the model but I read that the images are all Photoshopped from existing digital images – no models were exposed to radiation at all.

Miscellaneous thoughts & ravings One of my friends has told me that she can’t access this blog from her work internet connection (she is a her work’s blog lady so is allowed to be accessing blogs in work time). The reason is that her work’s system says that this is an unsuitable site because it contains the word sex somewhere. As we were discussing this last night I was trying to think when I have written about sex. I was pretty sure I hadn’t. I admitted to the occasional “bollocks” and “tw**” but sex? The lack of sex (the word, not the act) on my blog has intrigued me. This morning I have just done a search and found it - well kind of. I found 6 references to words with sex in - 3 sexys, 2 sexuals and 1 sexist. One post did have “tw**” in too but I feel that in the context it was written it was justifiable. Any swearing on this blog is usually in relation to National Express (nee One) or First Bus and again I feel that this is totally justifiable considering their poor performance and the number of times they have cocked up my day.
So who is this conservative and “reproducing by combining genetic material from two individuals” repressed company? It is good old Norwich Union or as they like to be known Aviva.
Becca, I hope you find this post during your trawl through the internet one of these days and are able to point out to your company that their draconian censorship is just down right UN-sexy
